The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Baltimore (YNPN Baltimore) promotes an efficient, viable, and inclusive nonprofit sector that supports the professional growth and development of young professionals in the Baltimore metro area. YNPN Baltimore engages emerging leaders in the nonprofit and social sector through professional development, networking, advocacy, and collaboration. YNPN Baltimore was established in 2013 with support from the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Our fiscal sponsor is Strong City Baltimore. The chapter is governed by a board of 15 young professionals.
A chapter of the national Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, YNPN Baltimore is one of more than 40 chapters with over 30,000 members around the country that are building stronger young leaders through programming, education, and networking that provides a career pathway for current and future nonprofit professionals. YNPN is a grassroots, chapter-based organization with a presence in many small, mid-sized, and large cities around the country. Each local chapter determines its local programming priorities, but nationally we work together to improve the nonprofit sector.
